Aaron Owen Phillips (born 20 November 1993) is an English football player. He is a defender who currently plays for Football League One team Coventry City. His father is the former Welsh international footballer David Phillips who played for Coventry's FA Cup winning side in 1987. ==Career== On 31 January 2013 Phillips joined Conference National side Nuneaton Town on loan for a month, with a view of gaining more experience, He made his Nuneaton Town debut on 2 February 2013 in a 3-2 loss to Stockport County. Phillips was joined at Nuneaton by fellow Sky Blue Lee Burge, both Phillips and Burge had their loan spells extended until the end of the season and were influential in saving Nuneaton from relegation. Phillips made his Coventry City debut as a substitute on 3 August 2013 in a 3-2 Football League One loss to Crawley Town, coming on to replace Jordan Willis after 82 minutes.
